This page explains the cookies used by ganryujima.sk and how we handle the limited personal data we collect. We do not use tracking, analytics, or advertising cookies. Only the cookies listed below are set, and all of them are strictly necessary for the site to function. No consent banner is required under the EU ePrivacy Directive and GDPR for cookies of this kind.

What we use

NEXT_LOCALE
Remembers your selected language (Slovak, English, or Japanese) so the site loads in the same language on your next visit. Set when you use the language switcher. Expires after one year.
Supabase auth cookies (sb-...)
Set only when you log in as a member. They keep you signed in across page loads and are removed when you log out. Used solely for authentication — no profiling.

What we don't use

No analytics (no Google Analytics, no Plausible, no telemetry of any kind). No advertising or marketing cookies. No third-party trackers. No fingerprinting. No social media pixels.

Newsletter subscribers

If you subscribe to the newsletter through the form on the site, we store your email address with Resend (an email-delivery processor based in the United States, with EU sub-processors) for the sole purpose of sending you newsletters. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link included in every email — your address is then suppressed at Resend and we will not contact you again. We do not share your email with anyone else, and we do not use it for any other purpose.

Managing cookies

You can clear cookies for this site at any time through your browser settings. Removing the language cookie will reset the site to its default language detection. Removing the auth cookies will sign you out.
